What should I pack?

Refer to dress codes on the details page! Text us if you need specifics! Important to have spf (but you can just visit the beautiful French pharmacies) and a hat for swimming/hiking! Maybe motion sickness stuff if you get motion sickness? If you’re planning to hike down to our favorite calanque (Sugiton! See guide! Obsessed!), would be better to have sneakers or sandals that strap on rather than just flip-flops. And remember an adapter like this (if stranded mid-trip without one you can often grab at an airport too)! Should you forget something and freak out, visit a Monoprix - literally everywhere and carry everything!

Should I rent a car?

We never have, we love to walk, bus and e-bike everywhere BUT if you’re planning a lot of daytrips and do not fear narrow European streets, it can be helpful (we have opted for trains when we do day trips to nearby Cassis or Arles). Download the lime app because there is nothing as beautiful as biking (with minimal exertion) all along the corniche from the Old Port to our favorite swim spot under Le Petit Nice.
